OUTSTANDING ! ! !
This is really a cool illustration with a lot to love. The cool body type (definitely not a bimbo), with just the right amount of highlights on the hair and classes. There's something subtly militaristic about this, in both uniform and the stiffness of her pose (and by that, I mean she is standing up straight – you actually managed to convey a naturalness to her pose that is very appealing with the turn of the neck). Also like the almost-abstract tug of the wires on the fabric of her jacket. Nice.
I like the paper folds (subtle but effective), but the vertical line adds a hint of confusion to the illustration because it so perfectly mimics the direction of the wires. For a split second I thought it was another wire running down to her legs. I can't help but wonder if the paper fold is bringing enough to the illustration to warrant this possible confusion, or if three horizontal folds (and maybe more corner distress/yellowing) might help? Of course, the horizontal lines might actually make things worse.
Oh well, I'm rambling now. I really like your treatment and color story, and the typeface selected (and its non-primary color) really makes this a special illustration. Thanks for sharing it with us!
