Description
So many people have problems posing the Hands Near the Face. There are two keys to making it work: 1) the hand and fingers never really touch the face, they just come close. The exception (as shown here), is when you want to deflect the lip. 2) The hand should be curved and thumb or pinky edge towards the camera.
Other elements of the pose in this image are the hip is shifted, the open diamond between the waist and elbow and the body is angled (instead of parallel) to the camera.
