I see so many photographers posing models with their arm(s) up, but the nose is pointed at the armpit. Don't Smell Armpits!!! Again, starting with the feet, I had her point her right toe towards me, and the left toe was raised slightly and the knee bent. (If you could see her left foot, it would look like she's standing on her tiptoes.) Hip out, pelvis rolled forward. Then, I had her raise her left and to play with her hair. The natural tendency of people is to have the head down which puts the nose pointing at the armpit, so I tell them to raise the head. Her right hand was placed on the side of her hip with the elbow bent towards the back (and not out). Also notice, there is closure with the distant eye.
