Description
Caitlin made her first snowman this morning. It has the requisite carrot nose and we used bottle caps for eyes, but I drew the line at a banana for a smile and scouring my stash for suitable buttons. I may be drummed out of the Grandmas Union.

lol, the bananas of the world thank you. And the buttons. (Besides, you need reeeealllly big buttons, right? Otherwise no one can see them.) I like the 'wings' on the snowman, and the slight suggestion that he's Groucho Marx with a cigar. Great shot of Caitlin with a big beaming smile, esp considering the overcast tinge to the day. Boy, you have land around you! And is that a cow? (You gotta remember, I live in Chicago and haven't seen a cow in 400 years...) Wonderful shot, and Caitlin looks like she's having a great time. (Ok, this will make you cringe, but as a boy, I hung with boys who liked to smash other people's snowmen. Awful, isn't it? You can report me to the authorities. It was a rite of passage---but people smashed ours, so we got some payback eventually...)

We got enough snow here to build snowman crowds, snow houses for them to live in, snow cars for them to drive, snow cities for them to drive in, and possibly even snow planets to build the snow cities on. I mean.... Lots of snow... 🤣
Wonderful reminder it is winter.(Emphasis on reminder, it hasn't seriously snowed here, and I don't want it too). I never thought of a banana mouth, seems out of season, sort of like a sled in summer. Caitlan and the snowman are adorable..
