Yes, magnificent, as Rod says...and others agree...it's a 'royal' image, a monumental image. I see the spirit of an eagle everywhere in this image. And its feathers turn into a swirling halo. I love how you pick up forms from one space, and weave it into another space---that's very musical, you're using motifs over and over, varying them, putting them in new 'keys', etc. It's a very organic image.
Plus your colors are wonderful: Deep purples, next to deep orange-reds. And that luminous green on top, over a luminous blue on the bottom. It radiates with feather forms, too. Beautiful work, as always, Jacomina. Very organic, and perfect for the New Year...
