Hello old friend!! So nice to see a new piece and Happy Holidays to you too!!! What a lovely scene!!
lovely winter scene
Good to see a post from you, Helle! This is lovely.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas season!
I was concerned about your lengthy absence, but now happy to see that you are still with us what with this loverly holiday offering. Have a wonderful holiday up there in Denmark, Helle.
I love your gentle DK paintings. This is so loving and gentle. Looks like you used palette knives in your treatment, and I love the slabs all over the piece. And the gray-ish whites for ice and snow on that path (or stream). (I think it's a path, but it looks a bit like a stream.) And your usual way with houses (very loving) and the browns, tans and reds. It's a gentle residence rising out of a sea of winter-white...beautiful work, Helle. And it's a great surprise to see you here again! I hope your holidays are wonderful, with your big and loving family; and hope the coming week is sweet, despite all the preparations. Great to see you here again (I saw the ebot and thought: Holy cow---it's helle!!!) Delightful winter painting...
