Description
Waiting for the night watchmen to arrive, Amelia was enjoying her little cigar and a bottle of brew, when she heard the familiar scratchy rustling of those darned invaders...those scorpions always showed up shortly after she lit the lantern. You see those critters are drawn to the light, sort of like fish are drawn to the light at night...No fear. She's ready. The handy shovel should take care of the situation...
I thought this scene would be perfect for a redo since it was already set up...excellent selection of textures to work on, etc. Good SuperFly learning tool. While creating this scene, I also learned how to create the "Normal" gradient bump image file using the Nvidia Photoshop plugin...Learning something new each day keeps the little grey cells happy. I would like to add, if I were to try to do this in DS, my computer would have crashed and burned. Poser really is the better program, at least for me :) Besides, I love working in the material room...I don't feel like I'm just pressing that "create" button.

Excellent presentation and lighting! Well done!
She drinks a good beer, that lighting is spot on my friend. Enjoy this series.
a great night scene, the lighting is perfect. she sure is calm with those scorpions running around in the darkness.
when I was a teenager camping out, I never thought about scorpions. one should heed them. nice low light but has all the details
Fantastic scene, love the lighting!
it is certain that these little creatures are dangerous, it is not the moment to lie on the ground to sleep! Superb lighting and great scene, excellent work, my friend! Have a nice week-end with not too much snow :)
Very nice work Barb. Amelia looks so alert, though obviously such preparedness is part of the job. But, does she notice the little GPS dots implanted on her uninvited guests?
Rather her than me out there alone. Super image.
The critters are everywhere, they just take different shapes to creep us out, lol. Jungles are the worst for things trying to bite or sting you...

She's got the shovel handy, and the stompin' boots on - so no problem!
Really cool work on this one! Yeah, the material room is gun to play in... I love it.
Super image!!!
Gotta watch out for those little devils. Fabulous job!
Little but dangerous visitors!
