Description
Another unfinished just-messing-around weird thing I did back in 2002, displaying a spacecraft chase in, out, and around the miscarriage of a nascent moon, which prevented it from developing into a regular full blown sphere.

Cool work on this fun image! Looks like one of those asteroids NASA sent a probe to.
this deserved a lot more response than it got---I love the playfulness of it, and imagination, and the vivid saturated hues, and contrasts. That moon-like thing ("miscarriage of a nascent moon"---great description) could almost be a person: The highest sphere has an eye---the green/silver appendage---and there's a big nose sticking out on the right (our right). Almost like a Macy's Day float---only in outer space. And an outer space with a gorgeous deep blue, with that white streak in the middle. The ships, esp with such vivid hues, give a childlike quality to the piece. Lots of fun, and beautifully done.
