If you let your mind drift a bit, you could imagine yourself over the clouds looking at the ocean below....
I had the same thought as Mike: that this could be looking down into the ocean, as well as looking up. (I know it's the latter.) I love how you move from intense shapes on the bottom to a broad sweeping shapes on top. It's a really varied shot. And I also imagine that people like Rod and you would have a special feeling for it, since you've both worked in aviation. Very dramatic; and it's too bad these skies are rarer now. I hope the terrible fires become rare too: Your state has been hit with so many disasters...Californians have to be a tough breed...
