Description

At first, thank you for looking and comments to my last image: The Fate laught with pointy teeth - Daglind. It means a lot to me! All in all, the raid went well - far too good. Although the longships were already more than full, Skryrmir did not want to miss the last station Antorf, today's Antwerp. He wrote Ragnor's reservations in the wind. He did not consider the nightmares of his youngest son so important. After all, the greenhorn had to process everything seen. In Antorf, however, the Northmen expected a nasty surprise. They were ambushed when they stormed the church. Armored Riders of the Order of St. Michael were already waiting in the darkened church, taking advantage of it. As it turned out, the novice whom the Norsemen had taken had left a written message telling the knights where the Norsemen wanted to strike next. Only with the help of Otar the White, and Skrirmir's brother Asgrimur, could the Norsemen defeat the heavily armored knights. Balder had kept his word, protecting his little brother and serving as a shield, and intercepting the lance Ragnor should kill with his body. Balder bled in the arms of his younger brother. Later Ragnor beheaded the treacherous novice by hand ... Sequel follows.
