Description
this is in Delta, Colorado. below is a youtube video of the collection. I missed seeing the car lot or I would have stopped there also for photos. I had a long raise to go that evening so I was in a hurry. I did take photos of all the collection downtown

Cool image!!!
Nice picture, great find.
I don't remember ever seeing a De Soto with that grille Richard. Is it a special edition?
Great capture!
Great picture. With a bit of work this would be a real beauty.
Thanks Richard, this is amazing. Where do I sign and when can you ship it over. I buy Classic American car magazine over here and it has a great "Discoveries" section where pictures of cars like this are sent in. Some are for sale and some not. Awesome mate !
Good memory
a cool old car. I like the rust on the one next to it, too.
Cool shot of these wonderful old relics, Richard. Hope they'll be restored.
marvelous old car a fantastic shot certainly has character
Bravo! It is very beautiful and very nice!
This is a 1947 DeSoto. The 1948 is similar, with the "teeth" of the grille extending into the chrome surround, but the middle part of the grille is flatter on the '47. I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the "Custom" and "DeLuxe" models.
Here's a '47 DeLuxe from an old car sale site:
very similar in body style of a 1948 Plymouth I had in California
Awesome work with camera!
