I went to the airport to pick up an old lady. she was gone for 14 days. 14 days of peace and quiet . I dropped her there on the 18th and left on my trip right after

Wonderful shot of this formation, Richard. As I understand it, these are remnants of ancient volcanoes left over after the softer surrounding earth eroded away, leaving the harder volcanic flow or lava column behind.
