Description
Makani had always wanted to explore the old mineshaft near his grandparents’ home. Rumors said there were still artifacts lying around and gold nuggets in some of the older tunnels. He talked Anna onto going with him, but as they progressed further into the dark, damp underground, she was having more than a few second thoughts about her decision. The creaks and groans were getting on her nerves and the little squeaks from the darkness made her jump but she would give it a little more time. This was Mankani’s dream and she trusted his judgment – for at least another 5 minutes.
Two nice freebies here: Ancient Mineshaft by genejoke and squarepeg3d’s Morphing Flame for Iray. I had to do a bit of shuffling to get the mineshaft files in the correct places but it works very well and you can string them together to make a deeper tunnel. The morphing flame is pretty much all the light in this scene. It has several adjustments and scales very nicely.

outstanding lighting and characters. she is beautiful
you got her expression right on---she's going-along but nervous and anxious to get it over with. (And great blouse---you clothe your models so well! I like his sweater too.) She's a bit behind him, he's taking the lead, and your dark light gives the appropriate 'scare' feeling, not to mention some prettttty big gaps in the floor planks! (I'd be a lot more scared of them then the creaks, lol...) He even has a slight hesitation in his gaze...Very well done, you capture mixed emotions very well; and, as always, it's a pleasure to see these kinds of tales in Poser and Daz: You have a real native feel for them.
Superb lighting (though the torch flame looks a bit unnatural). Considering the story this render could perhaps be made a bit more eerie -- maybe by adding some haze and cobwebs. But I guess I'm just being difficult. :P
