Description
Our neighbor’s dog is a medium size mutt and a total sweetheart. He was our welcoming committee when we moved into the house and is a frequent visitor. He and our grandson Sean are especially fond of each other. Whenever Sean is with us, he stands in the side yard and calls until “Wilbur” comes running. This image is my recreation of an actual moment between them one Saturday afternoon.

A real delight, Teri. I love the turn in Wilbur's head, the way dogs wind their way into a human's embrace...And Sean (or his representative in your piece) has a full embrace. A really sweet human-animal moment; and that stark white chair makes the two of them stand out more. Very touching. (Experts say that when we're with dogs, our blood pressure and heart rate go down, because their unconditional love removes a lot of our natural stresses...)
