Outstanding... Love the "cartoon" effect!
More fantastic work from a master. This could appear in any comic book anywhere and everyone would be impressed with the lighting and control exhibited here. That background adds such a sense of place, whereas the beam of light really (and a bit unexpectedly) adds to our sense of character. This is a paladin, a force for light. As he enters the scene, that becomes apparent to us and anyone else he will interact with. BRAVO!
