Description
The day before.
It was quite a scary day yesterday as Mr. Buck went missing.
Jasmine needed to go out at 4.30 am on Thursday morning & while I was sorting her out Mr. Buck decided he would get up & have something to eat then about 5 am he went out.
Later when I cooked Jasmines fish for breakfast I thought Mr. Buck might like some so put him some in his dish.
During the day Mr. Buck likes to sit either in the back garden, the front or stay inside & more times than I can count he pops in for something to eat.
If I am going out I like him to be inside so I know where he is but yesterday I couldn't find him so I had to go out & leave him out.
I was visiting janeeden, we had a good catchup & put the world to rights & when I arrived home I again didn't see Mr. Buck. Usually he would be wanting something to eat but no Buck. He had had nothing since 5am.
We started worrying & by tea time I was really, really worried. The girls went out & we had a good look round, but I knew if he was about he would have been in to eat, so I came to the conclusion that he was either locked in somewhere, something had happened to him or someone had picked him up.
It got to 10pm & still no Buck. I was planning what to do next day, ring round the vets, rescues & make a poster to put through doors.
About 11 pm, Dave decided he would stay downstairs to sleep & leave the light on & back door open.
Christopher would leave his bedroom windows open as Buck does come in & out through them. I went upstairs, didn't sleep but kept checking through the window in case he came strolling down the close.
Any way at 1.15 am Dave came upstairs to tell Christopher & me that Mr. Buck was home. The relief we all felt!!!
I really would love to know what happened, I think he was locked in somewhere.
So this is him this morning tired after his adventure, with Zlata looking after him.
Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. x

SWEEEEET
Gosh, What a worry! So glad he is back safe.
Oh I know that feeling just all too well! two years ago (in September) our black old boy Bagheera suddenly did not come home. He was always around the house so this was very unusual. How ever he was still missing the day after, we made posters and informed different places and organisations and asked the neighbors to look in their sheds and basements. But no Bagheera around. After a week i gave up hope that i d' ever find him dead or let alone alive. How ever on the 10th day we got a phone call from our neighbor next to us at 6:30 AM. He heard strange sounds in the night in the empty flat above him. So there he was! Locked in for 10 days without water and food in an empty flat. But he survived!! We where relieved that the neighbor found him, because on the same day he went on a 2 week trip far away. Our Bagheera certainly wouldn't have survived those 2 more weeks... So I really can relate to your feelings! I'm glad Mr. Buck came home!!!
Well, that certainly was a scare...thank goodness he's okay. I have had thoughts that a small GPS locator could be placed in a pet's collar--that would certainly help in situations like this. Looks like Zlata has things under control :)
Sounds like you got quite the scare Barb glad all worked out my friend thanx for this little update as to goings on of Mr Buck lovey capture friend!!
I am so glad he came home! It. It's a horrible feeling to hink something has happened to them.
Glad he made it home, fantastic scene!
He looks all tired out from his adventure.
Well an aunt had a cat that went back to the old house they lived at. I took almost a week to get there trough the forest. He did this several times, and always after a week she got the call, Your cat is here come and get him. He lived for more than twenty years. He was killed on the road while he was waiting for her to come back from the market. A wile later my sister found a box full of kittens at a dump. Our aunt took one of those kittens. he stayed with her for more than twenty years. He died of old age in her garden, he went to sleep and never woke up. She told me: Look at us watching each other, who's going to die first!
very glad that he finally made it home safely. He certainly looks comfy now
