Gorgeous shot my friend
sweet
So beautiful! I love the pale butterflies on the lavender.
Nice shot of the butterflies doing their thing upon the stalks, Helle. With the aid of an early morning marine layer, it's cooled off to a much cooler 32.8 Celsius in the afternoon here. There is even talk on the radio about rain showers, but they never show up.
Lovely.
It's a butterfly feeding frenzy! LOL Wonderful shot, Helle!
I am totally unable to grow lavender! I love this picture, even though I'm envious of your success!
Wow, the butterflies take a moment to find---they're a light delicate green-beige-white---but when you find them, they're beautiful contrast to those intense stalks. We can really see how brown the ground is; and the stalks are beautiful and the placement of them shooting into the scene is beautiful too. Amazing that you got the butties all on the same sides of the flowers. Like they posed for you. (We had lots of lavender when I was a kid.)
