Description
I shot this one walking with my dog around my apartment house. Many years ago under so-called "socialism" the term "politinformatsia" (political information) meant a gathering where someone in charge reported on a current political situation based on the newspapers. Both the speaker and the audence pretended that the event was of vital importance, but in reality no one cared less. The vent was rather widespread around schools, the army, at some factories etc. I am sure with birds it must be different.

I hate having the paper read to me. I'm sure I would not have enjoyed those gatherings! LOVE the birds, though. :) Your color block composition is superb, as always. You have such a remarkable eye for this sort of thing!
Looks like they are sitting on the party line. I agree with Tara. This is a superb image. The old Soviet Union may not have been the socialist worker's paradise it claimed to be but sometimes the humor was pretty good.
