No, not the stromboli you love to eat!
I never knew there was a tiny volcanic island named Stromboli, near Sicily, until I just recently saw the 1950 movie starring Ingrid Bergman.
In the movie, inhabitants of the island had to escape the island in fishing rowboats when the volcano erupted violently.

Small explosions occur regularly there, dating back at least 2000 years. In 1919, 1930, and 2003, the Stromboli explosions were large enough to kill some inhabitants of the island. A few hundred or so live there.
Tourists love to visit Stromboli, and the natives make their living by fishing and catering to the tourists.
I tried to "spot-redden" the clouds a bit more, but it caused the volcano to become too red.

Far too many population centers are right next to a volcano.... It really ruins peoples' day when the things erupt.
