Description
An old cotton warehouse on the riverfront in Savannah, Georgia.
I love old industrial buildings. They just ooze history!

We've had a few busy days, running all over the county, getting stuff done. I'm looking forward to sitting with your art for a while and just relaxing and making comments!

I'm still working on my Flickr account. This morning I posted a new album of favorites from 2011. Only six more to go! :P

All highly desirable apartments now, I expect!
Amazing capture Tara. God bless.
Lovely find and a great capture Tara well done!!
this is so cool. Think of the horror films that can be had here
this really is a cool shot.
I must have been focused on something else when you took this picture. It always amazes me to see how different our pictures are after the two of us have spent hours in the same general locale:-) Like your title.
I'd expect those apartments are at a premium... I don't like apartments - never did, no matter how fancy. On the other had, I've been called a loafer a time or three... LOL
But what a wonderful shot of this facade, Tara!
Yes there is something with these buildings. I love them too, but I dont know why, actually. Excellent capture!
Impressive find and capture!
(I read bill, and I'm still waiting for one of you to write, "I could've done this soooooo much better...") Love this in medias res shot of this facade. You got real light in it because of the bright whites and the deep blacks. ANd the angle gives lots of variation to the repetition, as does the vivid green of the awning (bottom left). Love the "Grain Feed" up there, and the near black and white feel, even though it's not black and white. And the street lamp roots us to an unseen ground. A very fine capture of the visual music of a facade. And I too love old warehouses, factories and mills, etc. They ooze mystery too...they feel like whole lives have unfolded inside...I love this shot.
