Description
A soldier has just arrived from the border, where the army is fighting to defend the empire against invaders. As he enters the palace he pauses to greet the emperor's daughter.
This picture did not want to render in Iray. I finally had to divide it into several pieces and render them separately, then combine them with Photoshop Elements. Despite that, I think it came out okay. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I thought this is a pretty good piece of work, despite the fact that you had to render it piecemeal and then combine the separate renders. I sometimes did the same.
Looking at the whole sunny, pleasant scene one would hardly have thought a war is being fought somewhere. The soldier's garments really look historically authentic!
