Great closeup of a surface we see all the time but never really study. At this resolution, it seems like a huge carving. Or (ala Mark) rice paddies from a plane. Or an electron microscope image of a virus or some other cellular thing. Really fine shot, Andrea. (Another old joke from high school, was "no, I can't elope!" (I'm sure you've already done the math, and are sorrier for it) (Btw: Somewhere between Aug 15th and Sep 15th of every year, cantaloupes step out of normality, and suddenly speak to God. They acquire a taste that even heaven can't comprehend: They become transcendent; and if you eat them then, you will find everlasting life. This is a guarantee. Then, a month later? fuggeddit. They're just 'cantaloupes'...)
