Description
Pruning can be a very risky business when one's skin is like tissue paper.
I have to remember to wear gloves, which doesn't come naturally to me.

Wonderful photography with fine light and depth.
Impressive details with stunning light!
I think padded gloves would be best, these look very sharp. Excellent clear capture. 😀
Wonderful play of light and shadow. They do look very wicked. I have a tough pair of canvas gloves that work very well. I keep them right next to the pruning shears so I don't forget to wear them.
What an unusual beautiful capture with a very good depth of field !!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
I know what you mean. I hate wearing gloves but I dont dare not to. Ouch !
The girls have had these in their feet before.
Oh they do extremely sharp and dangerous.
Excellent
under the right conditions, these can flatten a bicycle tire
man, those are some formidable thorns. When you first posted this, I studied the thorns, and how you captured their 'Intrusion" and their beautiful hot light. This time, I'm looking at the whole pic, and it's really a stunning image. I love the bright neon-like flashes in the background, and how the thorns pick up the same intense light. A really eye-popping image. (And I'd think you'd need reeeeeallly thick gloves for those thorns.) I like that you have wound wire on the opposite side, as if the wire were trying to imitate the thorniness of the branch...
