I hear a laugh,
And I remember the ol days.
I watch a mushroom cloud bloom,
It's not the kind of fungi,
I like to grow.
I see the sonic boom, a flash,
I see the glow.
I look into the void,
That the universe calls you.

Awesome! I grew up with bomb shelters and the "bomb" scare. It's so sad our children and grandchildren now have this worry too. I wonder if humans will ever learn? Love the dark poem. It fits perfectly with that shroom cloud
