It's very magical and mystical.
And the rocky ground is very eye catching.
In addition to the powerful presence of that tree, the slant of the ground beneath it---along with the stones and other things surrounding it---make this a very dramatic, flowing shot. The tree is majestic and gnarled, defiant in its ornery dignity. And I love the slope, and those moss covered boulders in the foreground. It looks like the tree is surrounded by a bit of a protected area, as if someone built little 'walls' around the tree's base. A majestic shot, and full of gnarled character.
