Description
On this trip, whenever we stayed for any length of time at any given place, we usually had a choice of a day trip or two, most of them were included in the price, some were at extra cost. We had to chose were we wanted to go the day before, so our tour guide could make the arrangements. When we came to Queenstown, jet boating was one of the options, bungy jumping was another. I did not pick jet boating, it didn't mean anything to me, but when I heard the 6.2 litre V-8 Chevy engine come to life, my ears perked up.
After some time, during which we checked out the museum, we heard the rumble of the big V-8 and as the boat came closer down the Shotover River, we also heard the squealing of its passengers. I knew then that I had made a mistake.

I was on the bank of a river in Montana recently that has very fast rapids with several falls. if I heard right they are using the river for rides like this but on a smaller scale
