Description
Hi Mark, Hope this spiky, splashy little ball of color picks you up for your birthday. This little jewel is growing just a stone's throw from the north bank of the Rio Grande River in the old river town of Hidalgo, Texas. Have a great day. The park land I am standing on used to be in Mexico until a hurricane in 1933 rerouted the river a couple of hundred yards further south of here.

beautiful and colourful gift for a wonderful and fun artist. Mark is sure to enjoy this beauty. Happy birthday Mark!
This is a terrific image. The composition and subject matter remind me of something Mark might have painted but without the psychedelic treatment. Happy birthday, Mark. I hope you are feeling well.
This looks like the 4th of July come early!! Beautiful and I know Mark will love it, Happy Birthday, Mark!!
nice one
Lovely warm image ! It will cheer the birthday boy up!
OH! He will love that one. A perfect photo, flower and dedi. :)
Beautiful photo.
Stunner!!
Lovely to see a posting from you Bill and Mark will love this bright fiery flower for his birthday.
How lovely! I particularly like the little yellow tips on each spike. Itβs even more festive than certain hairstyles of our acquaintance! π
Happy Birthday to Mark!
A lovely photo and birthday wish for Mark - way to go, Bill!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mark! It will be late, but I'll have something for you.
Beautiful birthday dedication for Mark Bill.
Full size this bursts---the red flower is like a fireworks (as a few people have alluded) (w/out the 'psychedelic treatment' ((mark wysiwig))), and it bursts in front of those beautiful thick leaves, like they're succulents, even though I don't think they are...A beautiful intimate burst, and thank you so much for giving this for my bday. I'm sorry I couldn't comment on it sooner, but I saw it as soon as you put it up, and I greatly appreciate it, Bill. Many thanks to you.
Always a beautiful flower
