I'm only back for a few this time, Mike (either several short comments or a few long ones---you're, as always, in the latter category, as your work naturally demands it). So I'm doing a few older ones, then I'll do your most recent. Not only do I love Kirie's pose and immersion in thought, but such a bold orangish gold pedestal or desk or whatever that is; and a sky of deep turquoises and blue-purples, spread out like sheets of deep space. Love the textures of both. And she is definitely posed for repose; and again you show such intuition on the body, how she leans to one side and her arms splay out to give a horizontal 'pillow' to her. And I love how her eyebrows---very linear---match the lacy lines of her upper blouse and her necklaces. Beautifully done. That deep gold against that purple makes a stunning surrounding.
