Definitely needs restoring.
Sad end to such glorious flying machines to whom we owe so much! I was just reading that a fleet of airborne nurses and medics enabled prolonged campaigns which could be embarked upon by both American and British troops because of the superior facility for handling war casualties. Nice shot Richard!
If waiting for a rebuild I find it strange that it's left out in the open like this. Makes for a more difficult and costly rebuild when they get started with it. Nice photo of the interior components, though. Keep up the good work. :-)
Don't think they will get to this, being in the weather it's worthless.
**OMG ** Big job to rebuilt :)
Just a bit, great capture!
I think it is missing some vital parts - like the plane itself...
great find and capture
Cool shot... but I don't a rebuilt is in the near future!
This is beautiful!
Shining shot.
Talk about being in shambles...this hunk of electrical wiring and metal serves only one purpose--so you can take its photo :)
Awesome shot
Beautiful in a twisted sort of way.
I think it will take a majorly huge amount of TLC to bring that engine back on line! LOL! Excellent photo!
I think it's going to take more than a couple trips to Pick and Pull for this one! Great shot of this old engine, Richard.
Hope it doesn't stay out in weather!!!
Great find.
Looks like an incredibly complex piece of machinery! Great capture,Richard!
Rebuilding something like this is usually a big costly job... it's not like rebuilding the engine in a classic car, it has to be safe and reliable.
still a lot of job to do ;-)
Get the wrench out!!!!!!
this is great!
Bit of a fixer upper.
Great shot
Quiet, Sir, with a few pennies and some tweaking will come back as new (LOL)
interesting shot !
