Rho, a member of CLEA's ultra secret "Menagerie" team. She was once an ordinary woman, forced to become a cyborg to be used as a weapon in a war between the USA and Russia. When that war was eventually over, she and all the other Raiders were regarded as surplus to requirements. The Raiders wanted to simply return to society, and hide in the shadows but the superpowers during peace talks had decided that the "weapons" were too dangerous. Hunted by Alphas and cyborgs created after the war, the Raiders were destined for extinction. Being a later generation 'rho' unit, the woman once known as Hazel Egerton had the skills to evade capture for a long time. An experimental model, her armoured exterior had the means to access a chameleon mode and appear like human skin. However that used up valuable energy which was its downside. With the net closing in Rho ended up working with another Raider, an even more advanced Omega model. They wanted to stay alive, but eventually the hunters found them. Whether it was fate or something else, before they were eliminated, the Alpha known as "Rift" pierced the barrier that separated their Earth from his. The energy wave pull Rho and Omega through to an Earth they did not recognise, along with their hunters. No longer able to return home the hunters had no back up. The pair split company, Omega vanished into the shadows. Rho however found herself in the care of CLEA. Having committed no crime on the new Earth but possessing tech which certain criminals would love to get their hands on, she agreed to remain in CLEA's custody, until she was asked to become a member of the ultra secret "Menagerie" team to capture dangerous aliens hiding on the planet.
