-2C????? I literally can't imagine Helle. It's roasting here!
It looks like an expensive artisan loaf!
Ahh YES!!! Now I suddently remember..... My father was a great baker and conditor. He often made "Sunshine Bread" and it looked like this. I only remember because of what you said, Andrea. Thank you for that :)
defo bread looking
interesting and beautiful - it's warmed up here and it is raining a lot!
It almost looks like a starfish
Very nice capture.
I also thought immediately that it looks like a bread. You are so good with finding these unusual shrooms Helle. Lovely image!
My faves (the parasol mushroom (Macrolepiota procera or Lepiota procera) is a basidiomycete fungus with a large, catty, prominent fruiting body resembling a parasol. It is a fairly common species on well-drained soils. It is found solitary or in groups and fairy rings in pastures and occasionally in woodland. Globally, it is widespread in temperate regions. )!!!!!
Great Caesar's ghost, I thought that was a sun bleached turtle at first! Little did I suspect that it was a mushroom. Great lighting effects really bring out the color and patterns. Temperature perfect here at 75 Fahrenheit (23.89 Celsius) degrees, with tons of sunshine.
So beautiful in that light! It does look like a nice loaf of bread. Delicious!
A lovely capture of this beautiful shroom. I like its textured surface.
That looks like a mighty big mushroom, Helle! Great capture of it.
