It's always a treat when you post, Barb. (I know it's not easy, with the demands of your life.) I love the deep shadow inside that heart, and the total clarity and boldness of the fairy inside. She seems to have a bit of a smirk---maybe it's just some shadow, but I like that she seems to be a wee bit playful, even daring. Great texture and design to her outfit (puffy sleeves too). And she seems to bend with the contour of the heart. It looks like a gigantic candy box,which fits the 'treat' feeling. And I love the moon behind all those roses, and your combo of deep reds with deep greens, against an almost olive sky. Really well composed too. I hope you're well, Barb, and able to get rest. I much appreciate your visits here, and I'm always grateful for your visits to my gallery. Have a fine rest of the waning winter...the cold is on its way out finally...
