I'm only back for a day today, so I'm only leaving a few comments unfortunately, but I see everything of yours Steve, and I'll catch up with more, next time. (And I'll get back to your letter too---I'm very sorry for all your travails. Sounded scary too!) But for now, this piece...your design-sense is as alive as ever, as is your way with color, style, gesture, etc. I looked at Mike's gallery---for just a moment---and I got a feel for all the portraits he does; and you gave him a helluva portrait in return. Terrific pose: You have a way, Steve. She's posed as if she's about to leave, but stopped to take a glance at us. Great classic fashion and pinup posture, fine job with her body, gaze, the way you've clothed her, and all that green and blue green, and the way you use those green spheres, etc. With orange and red accents. A terrific portrait for an artist who does lots of portraits. I know your head is in other places right now, but your art never wanes; and god do I wish the world would pay you for your talent. This is wonderfully done.
