this time I rendered the scene without the scene lights and this is better

Well not only is this a wonderful scene, but it's fascinating that taking out the scene lights had this effect. I'm assuming that this is just the IBL from the dome lighting the scene… Whatever it is, it really came up with a nice result. Nicely done, Mike!
