You created a very primal background---something from prehistory. I know you have some amazing rock formations in Australia, so this could be from your land. But it also feels very primal. It fits the man and dog, because they're communicating on a very basic level, both of them bowing to each other to show no aggression; and the feeling of a real connection. You got the dog's deep kneel (just as dogs do it), and the young man's gentle hand-offering. I like the details on both of them, wonderful use of light and shade and skin/hair texture. (I'm speaking in 2D terms, as I don't know the right words for 3D.) And it looks like---it looks like---you have a body of water back there, reflecting the clouds. A very intimate image, and articulated so delicately. And the light is rich, tinged in orange and yellows...
