Description

Have made so many mono prints, that I didnt know the use for. Now I found out, that I wanna use them for quick negative paintings. Like this. SO much fun to paint these and the only thing I damage, is the printed paper. This way it wont rot in the dresser for ever. Recycle art :) Have a great day. 4C and raining. The cat came home this morning SOAKING wet like a sponge. Good that he Loves to be dried with his towel. Thanks for your visit. :)

Lovely!!! That is a great wall piece! I'd be happy to have that one up on a wall (if my color scheme permitted ... LOL).

Splendid bit of restoration on this pretty old piece, Helle. At least it didn't go to waste. It finally rained here yesterday. The first storm of the season, and maybe the last.

I like the flowers very much, but it's the vase that makes me sigh with pleasure. I'd love to see more recycled monoprints! :) This is wonderful!

I don't know how you did it, but your paint strokes feel thick and very vital; I don't know how you did that on flat paper, but it has a very oil-like feeling. The flowers have lots of texture and sallow sections next to full pinks. You have texture in the yellow centers---like you used oils (they have a thickness to them). And I'm with tara on your vase: It rushes down in blues and blue greens, and it has real energy and light. I love the table/surface, with its rushed grays. And the amount of color you got in the background, as if you did an underpainting and then painted over it. I Love this. I don't know how you got such visceral 'oil' feeling, but you did; and the painting is touchable, electric and very vital. I'll be back for more soon, Helle, but at least you know I've been looking all along (and loving what I've seen)...and thank you as always for your terrific, committed, observant and always loving and appreciative comments. You always grace my gallery everytime you come to it...
