To cheer myself up a little this fractal, with which I played with some filters over it.
I hope you all had a good start to this new year.
Here the flu has arrived, now I've to make myself strong to give it a kick under his back, and a very hard one.
Anyway, I hope you feel like dancing too. I dance to everything, whether it is classical or popular, dancing gives a jubilant mood.
I'm exaggerating, but this I also do to cheer myself up.

This is glorious, Mies. It reminds me of an intricate embroidery.

Wow what a beautiful interpretation of a good ole country hoe down.
The gals swirling skirts look awesome as they promenade around the dance floor with their cowboy partners.

I love the deep oranges here...and the pale pinks, and the aqua blues. And you have these overlapping forms---like mushrooms overlapping with each other: One is right-side-up, the other is upside-down, and so on and so forth...Yes, they look like they're dancing, and locking arms as they dance. It's like a "round" dance, where people dance in a great circle. And your deep center is an 'oval' (actually, it's a pear-shape), where you use those pale greens and pale blues and pale pinks: Those hues are beautiful contrast to your deep oranges and very visceral shapes that dominate the rest of your image. This is gorgeous, Jacomina; and once again you've created a teeming, wild partita, of shapes, forms and colors. Really beautiful.
