Description
Some years ago I foolishly introduced these plants into my garden , ostensibly for the Goldfinches. These birds, however, prefer the convenience of the feeders, and I am stuck with recurring lethally prickly plants popping up all over the place, which are mainly ignored by the folk they were intended to benefit !

both photos are great - I can easily see the potential hazards of this plant
Very dynamic picture !!
Super shot !

Your experience shows in this image. This looks quite frightening, almost as if it is coming for you! I had to look this up. Somewhat similar but not a true thistle.
Teazel's & dogs coats do not mix.
When I was in high school, we had a huge strawberry pot (maybe three feet high) in the entrance hall, which was filled with dried teasels. I don't know why people thought they would be soft, but almost everyone touched them once or twice just to check! I love this picture, with your Topaz treatment. It's got a life of its own!
My grandma also used to make dried weed arrangements that included these.
