Great depiction of the young lady and her somewhat dour memories.
I love your retrospective style, you not only have older images behind this front model, but in the tiles beneath her as well. It's like a big cineplex of the memory, with multiple screens (and probably multiple soundtracks). The women behind stare at us with boldness, as if they're insisting that we come to terms with them; and the woman in front seems to be pondering it all---and you've made her stand out with that beautiful purple hue (on her garment) and great facial ornament. You do facial ornament beautifully. I also lover her elaborate pigtails and hair---in ambers and golds to boot. It's like a cosmic bathhouse (the greens on the tile remind one of a beautifully tiled bathhouse) with memories spilling all over it. A really fine piece, Steve.
