Description
Digging through my archives from a trip to the southwest that I took in 2012. I posted quite a few photos back then, but found a few that I passed up. This is a cottonwood tree in full bloom & was taken at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico, which was where Georgia O'Keeffe once resided...

A fabulous splash of color in this beautiful capture. :)
Such a delightful capture. Glad you finally share it :)
very beautiful golden colored leafs
I love cottonwoods, especially when they dominate or stand out in the landscape. We have a few up north of course, but they're far from the defining element in the landscape. When we go through the areas of the country rich in cottonwood, I can't stop looking at them. Beautiful shot!
