Great atmosphere on this. A strong feeling of rushing home before dark because....?
very nice - gotta get home before the ghosties and ghoulies get you!
And before the clowns are coming after ya !!! :-) Super painting, Andrea. LUV the colors :)
Awe sad its the last one but great one to finish on.
It's good to finish a project and head for home. Such a comforting feeling!
Outstanding work Andrea. God bless.
this feels like a scene from a 19th C British novel---Mrs Maplethorpe is walking through a storm on the moor, to get home before Penelope brings home her lover, Colonel someone-or-other. (It could also be a scene from Chekov, where she'll go in side, and everyone will sit around for 3 hours sighing and lamenting old Uncle Dmitri, and his now defunct mansion...) She seems to have a cape, and you have great dark stormy feeling here, and I love the intense coloring, and I love her reds and her serious expression. And those pointy skeletal tree branches. A big halloween-ish finish to this altogether extraordinary series. This is up there, for me, with your church banners series. I loved this. I hope you'll still post these from time to time, they've been a joy! Next time I'll get to the many other categories in your gallery...
