Description
The smell of honey in the sunshine is almost overwhelming!
There are usually hundreds of wasps on these but this year I have seen very few. The butterflies and hoverflies are making the most of them.

This looks very pretty - really striking.
almost alien looking - cool capture
I cannot recall having seen such flowers before. They are special and very beautiful.
Superb capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
I haven't seen these before.
Very interesting little flowers. I have never seen them before. I'm sure the butterflies and hover flies won't miss the wasps.
A very cool looking plant! Great capture!
What a marvelous close-up !!!
You were the first person to show these to me, and when I saw them for myself the first time, I was astonished that I hadn't noticed them before. I was going to tell you we had a different sort of ivy, because I didn't remember ever smelling them, but then I had one of those "ah-ha" moments, and realized that the scent I have tried to identify all around our local library at certain times of the year must be the ivy blooming! It's so much a part of the background, that when I smelled a sweet, sweet flower scent, I looked for something exotic in bloom, never thinking to check the ivy.
My life is much richer for having you in it! :)
