I hope everyone zooms your images, they are so full and rich in full view. This is one of your images where you use color as one of your image's key 'subjects'. (In the "silence' image I just commented on, you used greens that way; but here, the pinks/slate pinks/muddy pinks/taupes/purples, etc are just dominating.)

I've wondered what you did as a photographer, that led you to 3D. I can see the photographer's imagination in your 3D work, and why you chose 3D, because, to create a scene like this, as a photographer, would be daunting---like making a film. This is tremendous, Dee. So much drama in a still image: The woman has a pose of querying, seeking, a bit of unsureness, and anticipation. A lot to pack into a single pose. I'm not sure if she's holding a cellphone, but she's definitely pondering something. Great job on her outfit, as always; and golds and purples are of course royal hues. Great job on her hair. And shoes and how she stands. And letting us see her face only in reflection...

And then there's the interior. From the lower portion of the room, minus the mirror, it looks like a largely empty space. I love your bright and more muddy pinks as a stripe motif. (Slate pinks, grayish pinks.) You have a hot pink vessel in the corner---hot as in a hot-color as opposed to a cool color---which is gorgeous against those muted pinks. The vase and flower-ceramic on the other side are sumptuous. The shadows are very slight and seductive. And then the "rest" of the room---as seen in the mirror---is a whole other revelation: That car is the cat's meow: A chrome-y silvery minty pink, with that big glorious chassis, and flowers inside---a gift from her lover? and a great bed---or two---and some abstract art, more pink curtains, and so on. And that round frame! You show your design-sense in a number of your images, and this is a sumptuous, smart example. From color coordination to pose, to the mystery of what's on your model's mind, to her half secure stance, to the wonderful objects in your room, and your angled pov, this piece is terrific. And when one goes full size, not a bit is lost: Even the shadow behind the plants have an opaque richness which stand out. See, this comment took me 15 minutes, but it's what happens when I see art like this. First rate, typical of your art at its best. Boy do you know how to create a world...
