Interesting question. Maybe he knows about parties that might be sociable in a very different way. I love the pose of the guy and the blasé attitude of the party guests in this render. Wonderfully done

Well, I'm only guessing, but they look like a bunch of uptight snooty society types, who refuse to "hob-nob" with anyone who doesn't look or act like they do.
