Suggested by many to be the first "official" Alpha Criminal after Black Shadow's demise, Comet enjoys causing destruction on a massive scale and he does not care who gets hurt. CLEA DATA FILE Identity: Gavin Maddocks CLEA Classification: Alpha Superior Special Skills and/or Abilities: Alpha ability - Allows him to store energy from any heat source which can be ejected in the form of a blast or fireballs. Alpha ability - Allows him to levitate by ejecting heat. Cannot be burnt Limitation(s)/Weakness(s): Like most arsonists he likes to stay to watch his work. Any heats source above body temperature charges his Alpha ability (the hotter it is the quicker he is charged). Removing such sources/using cold negates his Alpha abilities unless he is already "charged". Only he had discharged all his internal heat he cannot fly and he is highly vulnerable. Rap Sheet/Criminal Traits: Arsonist Wilful destruction of property. Homicide Aggravated Assault Notes/History Perhaps the very worst type of Alpha criminal are those that were criminals before they became Alpha Superiors. Gavin Maddocks is perhaps one of the worst possible worst case scenarios because not only was he a criminal before he gained his Alpha Abilities but fate decided to give him Alpha abilties that would support his criminal career. As a wanted arsonist to be given the gift of fire was every dream come true for Gavin Maddocks. Under his alter ego "Comet" he would also gain the distinction of being the first of the next generation of Alpha Criminal following the new age of Alpha Heroes brought about by Team Zodiac. Whilst other Alpha criminals had appeared before Comet, from evidence gathered by CLEA it is believed he was the first criminal to become an Alpha Superior after the Black Shadow's demise.
