Description
For the first time I participated in the "Writers Contest", because I accidentally encountered this poem that I ever made about 2008.
It was just the challenge to do this once.
You'll see it here, in the left in English, and right in Dutch.

This poem is about the feelings of a young, innocent little girl.
She grew up among people who are very different, and there is actually nothing that they have in common.
Thus, the girl could never express her true feelings, so she was obviously very lonely,
but she learned to adapt herself, and do what is expected of her.
It was a tough job to translate my poem without too much going a kind of 'lost', but well, after all it was a fantastic challenge for me :)
By using PSP, I put a soft made Apophysis fractal behind the poem as a background.

I wish I read Dutch, so I could read the original, but the translation is beautiful, and brings up all sorts of images for me. I like the cadence, the meter, the litany of differences. It's a beautiful work, and I'm glad you shared it!
