Great capture. I served on the ISS Enterprise CVN-65 from 73 to 86
Magnificent ship! Great capture!
Great shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great shot of an awesome carrier! The specs are really interesting, too. "Range: Unlimited, distance 20-25 years." What we all wouldn't give to get that kind of mileage from our vehicles!
Great capture of this awesome huge carrier Sig!!!
Cool view, great capture!
We watched the Spartans play the Tar Heels (televised, of course ... we weren't there in person) on the deck of this ship. I believe we had it up here in Bremerton for a while, as well. I like your pov. Not one I've often seen!
An awesome ship !!!!
@auntietk! Thats the best I could do. They used to let you on them, but since 9/11 only dependents are allowed on board!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Wow! Looks like they are very security minded - red and black anti-torpedo netting? From this angle it looks like someone has tried to smash it with a big news paper, as if it were a bug (flat top). Keep up the good work. This is an unusual angle of view. :-)
Exellent.
It just amazes me how huge this ship is... Nice shot. Aloha
I was there in Norfolk while this beauty was being built and commissioned. Actually got to take a dependents day cruise on her and witness an f-14 break the sound barrier at sea. Awesome powerful ship. Still have my plank owner punch outs somewhere around here.
Yes, that is great range for a single refueling but I'm glad it's not coming from my credit card!
Nice shot!
nice low POV. cool boat!
