Description
I returned this year to the abbey of Beaulieu, and I will post some images of this visit, different from those of 2016.
I wrote for the preceeding series about this abbaye:
Beaulieu Abbey Tarn-et-Garonne France
The Beaulieu Abbey was founded in 1144. The first church built was probably destroyed during the Crusade against the Albigensians. It was rebuilt from 1275. The cloister was destroyed during the French Wars of Religion (XVI th century)and was not rebuilt.
This abbey now hosts contemporary art exhibitions.

L'abbaye de Beaulieu a été fondée en 1144. La première église construite a probablement été détruite pendant la Croisade contre les Albigeois. Elle a été reconstruite à partir de 1275. Le cloitre a été détruit pendant les Guerres de Religion (XVI ème siècle) et n'a pas été reconstruit.
Cette abbaye accueille maintenant des expositions d'art contemporain.

Love the old architecture.
On voit bien le temps qui est passé grâce aux vignes, mais c'est complètement souligné par les voitures qui tranchent bien avec l'abbaye. Superbe photo!
