With all that you do consummately, if I only could see your architectural shots, I'd still be happy. The light here is subdued and gray---it looks like a fall day where I live. I'd find this intimidating, because detail gets eaten up in this kind of light: But you got the detail of this beautiful old house, and also a 'presence'. (Houses have a presence, as I'm sure you know from your years of working on them.) It feels dignified but mysterious---because of the pale hues and the covered windows (with curtains). You cropped in just enough ground to root the shot; and the piece feels all-one, with a nostalgic gray feeling, and a slight sense of sadness. Wonderful capture once more.
