Description
Brittany and one of her bridesmaids at the wedding shower last weekend.
I'm indebted to Paul (pauldeleu) for his wonderful candid portraits. Anyone familiar with his work can see his influence in this shot. His work has given me the confidence to do candids in crowded rooms without waiting for a clear shot. Invaluable learning! Thanks, Paul! :) This picture would have suffered with a tighter crop. I had to shoot at such a high ISO that there's too much grain to bear close scrutiny.

Love this. I prefer natural expressions when photographing people. Seems few of us can smoke at a camera without looking a bit uncomfortable. Beautiful use of the available light.
